THREE PIECES TO GO, PLEASE!

The Pencil Skirt.

Here, an olive stretch gabardine over-skirt and a paisley’d claret under-skirt–both sewn onto one waistband makes it easy to put on and go! Center front slits (or back, or sides, you choose!) allow the print skirt to peek out from under the tailored over-skirt. Just a little couture designer touch added to basic business/professional attire.

Empire Waist Blouse.

Empire waist blouse, cut with up and down stripes (for a look that lengthens you), crosswise stripes (for cuff/collar interest) and diagonal stripes (for stretch across bust and back). Voila! . . . a perfect blouse with our favorite little silvery Oriental-coin buttns. We found this washable Calvin Klein claret/olive silk crepe de chine fabric @ a great low cost.

A Casual Jacket.

With pleated back and epaulet detail, a casual jacket in soft cotton corduroy, olive-coloured, with silver/embroidered paisley motif . . and very subtle tiny sequins (just a little light play and not glittery!). As we go into spring weather, toss your jacket over the back of your chair and fluff up the generous collar to cushion the back of that office chair–and frame your face for a good business presentation. Here, we lined the jacket in that cherry claret paisley print that is also used under the business skirt.

It’s the total Project Runway designer style . . . for

the serious woman.
