Our clients request this custom-made garment repeatedly. Easier than shorts or capris and travels perfectly (wash in the sink in one minute, dry with hair dryer in two minutes, put on and go!). Fits before and after junk food and Weight Watchers. Wear with flip-flops, flat shoes, and Birkenstocks. Great for shopping, shows, and taking out the trash.
How to?
A) You choose two or more fabrics (available here or we’ll help you to make choices from our local stores or on-line).
B) You design it with our professional assistance. It’s two or more individual layers of skirts sewn onto one waistband–we can advise you on the best waistline for your figure type. Your choice of fashion details may include, for example, pleats or slits placed where they flatter your figure, and work with your lifestyle. For example, allow a slit over the right back leg and the left front leg allows freedom of movement and the fabric layers catch a summer breeze
C) Pair your SKIRT/SKIRT with a couture (custom-made) T-shirt. Not your average T-shirt, ours are sewn in unusual designer fabrics and feature Project Runway fashion details like button-backs, boat necklines, hint-of-fit-but-not-too-snug-fit, bracelet length sleeves.
We will discuss and design with YOU personally, one-on-one, over coffee or tea (or on the run if you’re pressed for time). We can’t boil water but we know how to design and make great clothes. Here are some examples.
